Why I am showing you this

I have talked myself out of publishing this site a dozen times.

Not because the tools do not work. They do. I use most of them every week. The hesitation was simpler than that: everything here used to be for me. My drawing, my afternoon, my patience running out. None of it needed an audience.

So why does it have one now?

The first reason

Because I kept rebuilding things that already existed. Somewhere in this company is a tool that does exactly what I just spent three days writing, on a laptop I have never seen, built by somebody I have never met. Neither of us knew about the other.

That is not rare. It is the default, unless somebody says what they built out loud. So my first thought was to share this only with colleagues. Then I asked myself why stop there?

The second reason

This one is less comfortable to write down. I want customers to see what someone with a civil engineering background can build with AI, not what a slide deck says is possible. A slide does not survive contact with a real project. A plugin loaded into the application, running against an actual drawing, does.

What that rules out

If this is going to prove anything, it cannot be a highlight reel.

The last post here was about a deployment that broke in public. Most tools still do not have a screenshot. One project is a placeholder with nothing built yet. That is the actual state of the work, and cleaning it up before you saw it would have defeated the point.

What you are looking at is closer to a shop floor than a showroom. Some tools are polished. A few are barely started. All of them started the same way: I watched somebody grind through the same afternoon twice, and decided that was the last time.
