Redraw it before you commit

A parking lot layout is a negotiation. More stalls, or a wider drive aisle. You rarely know which one you actually want until you can see both.

The problem is that seeing both used to mean drawing both.

What changed

Pick a closed boundary. A mode less dialog opens next to it, and every time you nudge a stall width or an aisle dimension, the layout redraws in the drawing itself. Live, before anything is committed. You are not previewing a number in a text box. You are watching the lot fill in and empty out in real time.

Once it looks right, one command drops a stall count table onto the sheet, and you move on.

Why the live part is the whole point

I could have built a dialog that just took inputs and drew the result once. That tool exists in a dozen other forms already.

What actually saves time is never having to guess. You do not calculate whether losing two stalls buys you three feet of aisle width. You watch it happen and decide if you like it. That is a different kind of tool than a calculator, even though it is doing the same math underneath.
